Three New Wingscapes Cameras!

It was with great joy that I received the news this morning that not only are three new Wingscapes cameras now available, but that examples of all three are presently on their way to me.

Be assured that copious images and videos recorded with all three of these new cameras will soon be appearing here on Born Again Bird Watcher (I’m particularly looking forward to using the new BirdCam 2.0 with built-in flash to see what creatures are passing through before dawn and after nightfall).

In accordance with Federal Trade Commission 16 CFR Part 255, it is disclosed that the cameras referenced above are being provided on loan to Born Again Bird Watcher LLC by Wingscapes.

I’ll be interested to see what you think of these. The BirdCam 2.0 looks like a major upgrade. Does the “Audubon” version differ significantly from the older version?

With the addition of the flash and the elevation of the camera to 8.0 megapixels, the 2.0 is indeed a major upgrade. The Audubon BirdCam, having been increased to 5.0 megapixels, should also yield quite a noticeable difference in image output. As noted, I am really excited to get them set up and download the first images.

Wondering if you’ve tried the birdcam yet. Thinking of getting it for my parents who have traveled the world for birding. They have several feeders in the yard and spend the day at work missing lots of bird sightings. Any thoughts/opinions?

    Thanks.
