Seen at the 2010 SHOT Show: SHE Outdoor Apparel
While much of the SHOT Show is focused on many traditional “hook and bullet” activities, frequently with an emphasis on men, I found some remarkably innovative companies there as well that are expanding the event’s traditional boundaries.
SHE Outdoor Apparel has achieved considerable growth in its five years of doing business. Founded by an avid outdoorswoman and hunter who was tired of having to use smaller sized men’s clothing on her hunting trips, she began to create her own designs specifically tailored to both women’s requirements as well as preferences.
Today the line is continuing to expand into the adventure travel and hiking clothing segments as well. Judging from this new field vest being included in the product line, could bird watching possibly be far behind? Indeed, the new adventure and hiking lines may very well include the right clothes for that activity already.
